Philmont First Steps To An Ultimate Goal
On March 26 and 27, seven younger scouts (largely 12-year-olds) took the first step toward a Philmont Trek in 2024 with a backpacking trip on the AT (Appalachian Trail).

Ronalds’ Eagle Scout Project For Mountain Light
Ronald Sturgis, age 13, Ellijay GA, BSA Troop 440 Eagle Scout Project was a great success. We had 8 volunteers the first day and 11 volunteers the second day. This project transformed an overgrown weed area between buildings into a beautiful prayer and meditation garden.
