Schedule of Activities

Friday Night:

Our campfire program, lead by the Wolf Den, will start about an hour after dark. Please arrive at least an hour before dark to set up your tent. You may want to eat dinner before arriving. All are invited to bring a little someting to make Smores!

Saturday Morning:

After breakfast we will go over our Outdoor Ethics and then clean up trash around the parking lot as our service project.

Saturday Lunch:

Webelos are to prepare and cook their own meal.

Saturday Afternoon:

FREE Time

Saturday Evening:

Everyone is invited to stay the second night. This is a great time to Cook-n-Share and learn new skits and songs.

Overnight packing list

Please be conscience of your garbage footprint. We will set up a washing station to wash mess kits. Paper plates and cups in the wilderness can get very messy. You are responsible for bringing and cooking all your own meals. All parents are encouraged to let their Scout pack or help pack their equipment.

Knives

Your Scout must already have a Whittling Chip to bring and carry a knife. If your Scout does not have a whittling chip please coordinate a time with your Cub Master.

Directions

West on 52 towards Dalton

Right Turn – North on Gates Chapel Road

Right Turn – East on Bear Creek Road (Gravel Road just past the Mountain Creek bridge)
