It rained!
It rained a lot!
We didn’t get to host the games because of all the rain. However, we did go to the shelter and played board games and card games. There was a fire in the fireplace, where we got warm and dry. We enjoyed watermelon and cookies together in the carport next to the fireplace.
On Saturday, when there was a break in the rain, Troops 440 and 8 raced their carts. Meanwhile, Troop 32 fished before, during, and after the rain. On Saturday night, we cooked our food and then took it to the shelter to eat. We had another fire and waited out the storm.
Connie Grubb worked really hard making the awards, so we decided to give them out anyway. Troop 8 received the “Dress to Impress” and “Mario Kart” awards. Troop 32 received the “Web Fishing” award and the “Spirit” award for staying with us all weekend. Everyone who showed up got a patch.
