June 23rd through June 29th, Troop 101 attended Camp Daniel Boone. This Boy Scout camp is located in Canton, North Carolina.Throughout the week, Scouts participated in merit badge classes, climbing, troop activities, all of which were fun.

The weather was variable, cold in the mornings and hot during the days. During the week, Scouts had the opportunity to go to Boonesboro. At Boonesboro, there was a bar where you could buy root beer, Cheerwine, and snacks all for a dollar each.

There was music, crafting, and a shop with handmade objects, such as knives and musical instruments. Overall, this year’s summer camp was very productive.
